By Plane
Glacier International Airport (FCA)
Centrally located between Kalispell, Whitefish and Columbia Falls, provides the services of a big-city airport without the crowds. Delta/SkyWest Airlines, United Express, Allegiant Air and Alaska/Horizon Airlines serve Glacier Park International Airport from all over the U.S.
Year-round flights to Seattle, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Las Vegas and Denver. Seasonal flights oftern in the Summer (May – August) Portland, San Francisco, Oakland, Los Angeles, Chicago and Atlanta.
Major car rental companies can be found at the airport, including Hertz, Avis, Budget, and National/Alamo. Thrifty, Enterprise and Dollar Rent-a-Car are available off property.
By Train
Amtrak’s Empire Builder travels between Seattle and Chicago, pulling into the historic Whitefish Depot daily. Amtrak also stops at West Glacier, Essex and East Glacier Park.
By Automobile
From the South (Kalispell-Flathead Lake)
Take 93N to Whitefish. Turn left on Farm to Market Road. Turn right on Star Meadow Road and drive for 12.9 miles. If you reach Mountain Goat Trail, you’ve gone too far.
From the North;
Take 93S to Whitefish. Turn right on Farm to Market Road. Turn right on Star Meadow Road and drive for 12.9 miles. If you reach Mountain Goat Trail, you’ve gone too far.
